Have you ever seen a situation like we find ourselves in today? I have to admit that I am a little frustrated with this Covid-19 problem. Allow me to remind you that the shut-down of the nation at the beginning was never meant to end the virus, but to make sure that our medical facilities were not over run. By the Grace of God we were able to do that. Have you ever thought about the truth that we have not been able to stop the flu in all these years…we are able to manage it…to some great degree. The same is going to be true about this pandemic. Until we are able to see this come about, we must be diligent in trying to control the spread. To be very honest, I am not for sure that the “experts” know how to best do this controlling. I do want our church to do our part.
Beginning this Sunday, July 12, 2020 we will not be having Sunday school, but will still be having our morning, evening, and Wednesday services in the auditorium. We are still able to provide social distancing. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available. We will suspend Kids Choir on Sunday night and all Wednesday night classes.
During this very difficult time, we must be faithful in our stewardship. Please remember the needs of the church remain the same. I am doing my best to control all spending and to be extremely diligent that we use the Lord’s provisions in the way that pleases Him! There are different ways that you can maintain your stewardship…1) You can give during the service, 2) You can mail your offering in to the church, 3) You can give online at “pbcwaco.org.”
We will be endeavoring to have more of a “church family atmosphere in our services!” As part of our church family come ready to worship, sing, pray, and enjoy the Lord’s blessings with us!
